Chamber Vision

Helping to Build a Better Evergreen

The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce has grown over the years into a respected and valuable asset to local businesses and the community at large. With over 600 members, the Chamber represents a diverse and active business community.

We are fortunate to showcase many award winning businesses in Evergreen and we hope your visit to Evergreen, Colorado, and to our website, serves you well and that you come back and visit us often.

Creating a Strong Local Economy

We work diligently to encourage business connections and collaboration. We’ve seen an increase in members joining and becoming active in location-oriented associations such as the Bergen Village Merchants and the Downtown Business Association. The Chamber has served as a liaison to the various groups to bring them together. We are in the process of designing a new “shop local” program to encourage more purchasing within the community.

Promoting the Community

We have recently combined resources with several key groups in the community (Chamber, Park and Recreation District, Downtown Business Association and Arts and Cultural Alliance) to form a cooperative marketing group known as Evergreen, Your Mountain Destination. We are starting with promoting the area on the Lariat Loop as we develop a marketing budget for future promotion. We also have a widely distributed Directory/Visitors’ Guide that is our primary promotional piece.

Providing Exclusive Benefits

In July 2011 we launched an all-new tiered membership structure. Feeling that our previous employee-count based structure punished members for growth and/or encouraged dishonesty, while hearing that members were unsure of the value of membership, we have designed a new structure that clearly spells out the value and exclusive benefits received at each level.

Advocating for Business with the Government

Our affiliation with CACI and Jefferson County allows us to be current and up to date on legislation affecting businesses. We provide a “legislative link” in our weekly eblast that contains current information and links to bills members may want to follow.

Providing Leadership and Collaboration

We have a strong relationship with Leadership Evergreen and encourage leadership through our Leads groups, Ambassadors, and other committees. We work with various chambers on activities, promotions, and events. Our new events focus on bringing various groups/organizations together to encourage collaboration.
