When you think of the perfect Fourth of July, what comes to mind? How about beautiful, sunny skies with our cool mountain breeze, relaxing atmosphere, happy children, cold beverages, mouth-watering food and top-notch live music? If all that sounds good, you belong at the Evergreen Music Festival on Thursday, July 4^th, 2019.

Every year on July 4^th people gather at Buchanan Park for a day of fun in the sun. Music in Evergreen is the main attraction and this year's lineup is not to be missed. During the day the lineup features classical, blues, Indie-folk, bluegrass, light rock, and patriotic tunes from artists such as FACE Vocal Band, SHEL, Altezza/Ovation West (with dancers courtesy of Colorado Ballet), Evergreen High School marching band & choirs, Kicked to the Curb, The 3EATLES, The Wrecklunds, and Denver Brass.

As you enjoy the sunshine and continuous sweet sounds from two stages, your kids will be entertained by face painters, henna artist, caricaturist, balloon artist, bounce houses and a visit from an Evergreen Fire Rescue fire engine.

Additionally, Evergreen Rotary Club is hosting a
classic car show for you to check out.

In the early evening, the Evergreen music festival transitions into a high energy dance party beginning with Montbello Drumline, shifting to local favorite Joe Bye & Friends, and culminating with the 13-piece funk Wash Park Band.

If that wasn't the perfect day and evening already, throw in ice-cold craft brews, local spirits and margaritas to wet your whistle. Then sample some fare from food trucks featuring tacos, gyros, crepes, BBQ, pizza, hot dogs, coffee and Hawaiian shave ice.

The festival is supported by 25 local sponsors.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Evergreen High School's performing arts, including theater, choirs, band and orchestra.

The event runs from 10:00am-7:30pm at Buchanan Park. There will be $5 parking at the park and free parking in surrounding areas. Music will be performed under a large event tent as well as an outdoor stage, and festival goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

This is not a dog-friendly festival.  Tickets are $15 adult, $5 teen (13-18), and
children/active military/veterans are admitted free of charge.
